MANY DISCIPLINES. A SHARED CURIOSITY.

For people
who build.

Tinkerer’s Hall is a weekly selection of worthwhile engineering writing, with a particular curiosity for Physical AI, robotics, and language models.

Find the work behind the claim.

We look for original experiments, explained constraints, working implementations, and honest accounts of what did—and didn’t—work. A useful lesson can come from a research lab, an engineering team, or a workshop of one.

Each edition connects a small set of reads. Broader engineering stories belong here too: a lesson about control, evaluation, or reliability often travels further than its original setting.

A library, and an editorial selection.

The library brings together writing screened for technical substance. Automation can help classify material and suggest relevant pieces; ambiguous or sparse material needs an editor’s attention. Suggested tags are starting points, not guarantees.

Weekly selections receive a human editorial read. Each reading note explains why a piece deserves your time, and publication requires explicit review against the source version used. Later source changes are identified in the edition.

Every voice keeps its home.

Read the complete article at its original publisher. The Hall keeps attribution, a short excerpt, and context for deciding what to explore. You can browse without an account and save links in your browser.

The name takes inspiration from a gathering place for makers in Dimension 20’s Fantasy High. This is an independent project with its own identity.

Help shape the Hall.
